Sunday Cubs AGM Report 2018/19
Another busy year has been completed at Sunday Cubs, marking the 2nd year since the pack started.
Our Cubs that have moved up to Scouts have all successfully completed their Silver Challenge Award, a great achievement that they have all worked hard to earn.
Highlights of the year have included our sleepover in the hall where we collected donations for the local Food Bank. Cubs from all 3 packs came together to collect much needed donations and to have a fun night staying together in the hall, not much sleeping was done though!! We have been working on badges including our science badge where amongst other things we learned about floating coins and made balloon rockets.
The camping season will be starting soon with camps arranged at Fordell Firs, Barrwood and the Cub district camp at Jock Neish and we shall be working on our Outdoor Challenge badge at these camps.
A lot of our Cubs are due to move up to Scouts in October and we will therefore have spaces available for new Cubs to start. If you know of anyone wishing to be added to the waiting list, please let me know.
I would like to thank all the parents/helpers and our young leader David who have assisted us at pack meetings, camps, outings etc. over the past year, it really is much appreciated.
